One of the theme for Nutrition Month is digestive woes. It would seem that everyone these days is blaming gluten. Thinking about eliminating gluten from your diet? Give this article a quick read. It may not be gluten! and I promise you, a diet with gluten is far easier then one without.

January 9, 2017 - Canadian 24-Hour Movement Guidelines for Children and Youth
We talk so much about how good physical activity is for you. Recently, CSEP (Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology) and Participaction have come out with Movement Guidelines for Children and Youth. My favorite part of the guidelines is reducing the sitting time to no more than 2 hours daily. Remember these guidelines are for children and Youth, but as part of my goals for health, I try to limit my Jane the Virgin watching (or any show really) to no more than 2 episodes per day.
These guidelines also talk about sleep. More to come on the benefits and importance of sleep in the coming days.
