What is a Registered Dietitian?
A Registered Dietitian is a regulated health professional who is passionate about food and the science behind it. They help people understand the connection between food and health and work with you to embrace food, to understand it and to enjoy it. They will work with you and other members of your health care team to come up with the best eating plan that suits your needs, values and goals.
Registered Dietitians use the most up-to-date science and translate it into practical guidance that you can use to make healthy lifestyle and food choices.
Referrals to see a Registered Dietitian can be made by your Blue Sky Family Health Team Physician or a health care professional on the Blue Sky Team.
